To make the foil stamped ornaments you will need:

  • Thin metal crafting foil (0.005” thick) - search on Amazon, Dick Blick or Ace Hardware. I have also seen other folks recycle tomato paste tubes for this (the inside is gold in color!) or aluminum take out trays or roasting pans

  • A piece of felt (or any fabric or a tea towel works too) to place under your metal to protect your table and help with making a good impression

  • A ball point pen - you’ll use this to trace and “emboss” your design into the metal

  • Tin snips or sharp scissors for cutting metal

  • Something sharp to poke a hole with (I used the point of my embroidery scissors)

  • Twine or ribbon to make a hanger for your ornament
